Hoarding Practitioner

Life-Pod is a thriving and progressive social enterprise. We are a small agile team who make a big impact on people’s lives. We provide unique client-centred services to people affected by hoarding disorder or other conditions that result in clutter and chronic disorganisation.

Our distinctive pragmatic and therapeutic approach that is directed towards creating secure and safer environments for people to live and thrive within, and counteracting enforced clear-outs of people’s homes.

We are looking to recruit emotionally intelligent, flexible and self-motivated individuals to provide support for clients living in central Scotland. Our Edinburgh office provides a base for our peripatetic team of practitioners who travel between clients.

We recognise that central Scotland is a large geographical area to work across, so we would need individuals who can drive and have access to a car.  Travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with our statement of terms and conditions of employment.

In return for your commitment, Life-Pod offers a range of employee benefits, specialised training through its academy, and we will support you to develop within your role and in planning your future career.

Whilst previous experience in a similar role may be advantageous, we encourage people with the right values, aptitude and passion to apply.

We are committed to equality of opportunity for all employees and applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships.

Employees of Life-Pod will be required to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme for Adults.
